ORPHANED LAND, a pioneer of oriental metal, was formed in Israel in 1991 and released their latest album "A Heaven You May Create", which includes the band's 30th anniversary live performance. Formed in Israel in 1991, ORPHANED LAND was renamed from RESURRECTION the following year and debuted with the album "SAHARA" in 1994, blending progressive metal and folk metal with poetry, dialogue, friendship, and peace through the use of multiple languages, as well as oriental melodies. The band has established a solid reputation in their native Israel with their one-of-a-kind sound that blends progressive metal, folk metal, and poetry with dialogue, friendship, and peace, as well as oriental melodies. On June 10, 2021, still in the midst of a pandemic of the new coronavirus, the band held its 30th anniversary show with a 60-piece orchestra at Heichal HaTarbut, one of the largest concert halls in Tel Aviv. The performance in front of a capacity crowd of 2,500 people was recorded on their latest live album, "A Heaven You May Create".The CD+DVD CD to be released this time covers the band's discography to date and includes 13 tracks, including the fan favorite "All is One," the deeply introspective "Birth of the Three," "The Cave" with Israeli singer Noa Gruman (Hellscore Choir), and "Sapari. Cave" and "Sapari" featuring Israeli singer Noa Gruman (Hellscore Choir). They take us on an emotional journey through their music. Recorded and mixed by band member Idan Amsalem, the DVD features a dynamic and powerful performance by the originators of oriental metal, as well as a visual feast of their mesmerizing stage presence, and includes three additional bonus tracks, The DVD is a gorgeous celebration of the band's great history.
