Orlando: Le Forme dell'Amore" is the new album by Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, one of Italy's leading progressive rock bands. This is Banco's 15th original album in three years, and is also positioned as a commemorative album for the 50th anniversary of his major label debut with "First (Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso)" in 1972. This is a magnificent concept work that expresses the various forms of love that are essential for human beings, using the classic epic poem "Orlando Furioso" that all Italians have been passionate about at least once as a motif.For Banco (Banco del Mutuo Soccorso), there has never been a better time to celebrate its 50th anniversary and release perhaps its most ambitious concept album since its 1972 debut, First. Vittorio Nocenzi, along with his son Michelangelo and lyricist Paolo Logli, have been working on the musical concept of this new album for years. It was a difficult task to tell the story of "Orlando Furioso," a real epic poem of the 16th century, through a variety of songs, and to describe the facts and ideals as well. The result of the enormous amount of work in the studio is fully realized in this epic album, which will provide new guidelines for progressive rock fans. This album is a definitive demonstration of how traditional prog rock can evolve into a modern fusion of sound and spirit. The cover of the new album features the iconic "piggy bank," which has become Banco's unique logo and brand.
