Goat Girl
Description:
Goat Girl, the band that emerged from the South London scene and established a new era in the UK, returns with their latest album! Goat Girl, a four-piece band from South London's Windmill, the new epicenter of UK rock, which has produced exciting bands like Black Midi, Black Country New Road, Sawley, Shame, and Idols, has released their third album "Below The Waste" on Rough Trade. The band has released its third album, "Below The Waste," on the Rough Trade label. In addition to the band, the album was co-produced by producer/engineer John Spud Murphy, who has worked on albums by Lancome and Black Midi, also released on Rough Trade. The soundtrack, which was pieced together like a collage over a long period of time, was recorded over a period of 10 days at Hellfire Studios in Ireland. Other studio locations included Damon Albarn's Studio 13.Various sounds were added, including strings (Ruben Kyriakides and Nick Pendlebury), woodwinds (Alex Mackenzie), and vocals (including a choir of family and friends), which were recorded in a variety of locations from a barn in Essex, East England, to Goat Girl's studio in South London. The sessions took place in a variety of locations, from a barn in Essex, East England, to Gort Gahl's studio in South London. Of the lead track, "ride around," vocalist Lottie says, "At the time I was listening to a lot of Philip Glass and Deerhoof music that expressed a balance of tension and convergence, and that was definitely an influence on this song. During that period, we were isolated from each other, as we all were, and we were looking for sincerity and truthfulness in our relationships with others. But more than that, I felt that what I was envisioning was something deeper, something that would take away all of the politeness that we humans so desperately cling to and dive into the depths, where the most interesting parts of ourselves might be repressed." The LP will be released in two formats, a standard edition and a limited edition (transparent red vinyl).
