New Order, one of the most important groups of the British music scene in the 1980s. Following the release of the definitive edition of their memorable debut album "Movement" last year, New Order has freed themselves from the spell of their predecessor band Joy Division, and have adopted the sound of electro dance-pop, and have released a new album with a beautiful, flowing sound centered on synthesizers. The album "Power Corruption & Lies" from 1983, which presented a "new aesthetic" to the scene with its beautiful and flowing sound, is now available in a "Definitive Edition"! Joy Division.The three surviving members, Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, and Stephen Morris, resumed their activities as a new "New Order" band in the midst of their disappointment. With Martin Hannett as producer, they recorded at Strawberry Studios in Stockport, Manchester from April 24 to May 4, 1981, and released their debut album "MOVEMENT" in November 1981, just one year after the death of Ian Curtis.
