The famous singer Hana Vlasikova sings a work by Simon Bricusi! The Sprafon label has been recording "Prague Music of the 18th Century," and this album features Simon Bricusi (1693-1735), who sang in Prague in the first half of the 18th century. In the first half of the 18th century, Prague was a center of music, where Italian operas, concertos, French suites, Italian and German oratorios, and the latest music could be heard in the local churches. One of the leading Bohemian composers of his time was Simon Bricusi, a Prague native. He was one of the most outstanding composers who drew inspiration from the richness of European music and created original music. Simon Brikusi's works, which require a high level of technique reminiscent of Zelenka, are beautifully sung by Hana Bruskova, a well-known BCJ singer, and Jaromir Nosek, a bass. King International
