Starting with "Greeting Prelude" to celebrate the 80th birthday of Pierre Montoux, who premiered Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring" and "Petrouchka", the program includes "Symphony in C", written mostly in Paris at a very difficult time for Stravinsky, who lost his wife and daughter when he composed it.
