This 4-CD set includes three albums released on Reprise between 1980 and 1989, and one EP that was released only in Japan and Australia at the time. Neil Young is a legend of the rock scene, who started his career as a solo artist in 1969 and continues to release his latest works, while at the same time reissuing his past studio and live works, releasing discovered live recordings and rare unreleased works, and reissuing/excavating his vast catalog of sound sources in various series.The fourth installment of the Official Release Series box set, one of the series, which chronologically transitions the official albums released during his illustrious career, is finally here! Included in this set are Neil Young's three albums released on Reprise between 1980 and 1989, "HAWKS & DOVES" (1980), "RE-AC-TOR" (1981), and "THIS NOTE'S FOR YOU" (1988), as well as "HAWKS & DOVES" (1980), "RE-AC-TOR" (1981), and "THIS NOTE'S FOR YOU" (1988), all of which were released only in Japan and Australia at the time. ELDORADO" (1989), an EP, was released only in Japan and Australia at the time. The DISC numbers in the Official Release Series (ORS) in the title jump from 13 and 14 to 20 and 21, but the albums released during this period (ORS 15 to ORS 19) are from Geffen, so this fourth release covers all of his works released on Reprise in the 80s. This fourth album is a comprehensive collection of all of his Reprise releases from the 80s.
