Frontman's appearance on NETFLIX's "13 Reason's Why" has made him increasingly popular! The much-talked-about indie rock trio WALLOWS is completing an EP during their lockdown! REMOTE" is a pop, lo-fi, and relaxed work of art that captures the troublesome and almost overwhelming emotions of youth in catchy melodies and guitars, and brings the WALLOWS' world into full bloom! WALLOWS, an indie rock band currently rising in popularity in the U.S., released their debut album "NOTHING HAPPENS" in 2019, which reached No. 15 on Billboard's Analog Albums Chart in the U.S., as well as receiving accolades from TIME and The single "Picture of Girls" also did well on the U.S. Alternative Specialty Charts, reaching #4 on the 2018 annual chart and getting off to a solid start. As a live band, the band has also gained more experience and ability, performing at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and as the opening act for Vampire Weekend. Their new EP "REMOTE," which was produced during the lockdown period, will be released.The EP is produced by the band, Sachi DiSerafino and John DeBold, and the single "Nobody Gets Me (Like You)" is produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim). The six-song EP includes "Nobody Gets Me (Like You)," a lo-fi pop-rock song with an impressive B-movie style music video, and "Nobody Gets Me (Like You)," a comical aerobic exercise video in which the band performs a "nowhere" aerobic exercise. The music video for "Virtual Aerobics," a lilting summer pop number that has a big impact, is followed by "Dig What You Dug," a pop anthem with a dreamy effect on the chorus that makes your heart pound, and "Coastlines," an electro-pop song with a touch of electro-pop. Coastlines," and more, all of which are filled with a lo-fi bedroom pop-rock sound with a somewhat relaxed feel. And in every song, there are glimpses of the lights and shadows of a bittersweet, sweet-and-sour, and regretful, helplessly revelatory youth.Although all the songs are compact, clocking in at around 3 minutes, the WALLOWS world of catchy melodies and guitars, with the tediousness of youth and the emotion of being almost too much to handle, is still alive and well here. The WALLOWS' popularity has skyrocketed recently with vocalist/guitarist Dylan's appearance in the popular Netflix series "13 Reason's Why". REMOTE" is a lovely EP that could be called a compact portrait of the WALLOWS as they are right now.
