New release from the popular Greenlandic band "Nanook" One of the most popular bands in Greenland, "Nanook" is a band of Christian Elsner and Frederik Elsner (Vo. & G.), Maz Long (Key.) and Andreas Oteh (Ba.). The band consists of Christian Elsner, Frederik Elsner (Vo. & G.), Maz Long (Key.), and Andreas Oteh (Ba.). The band's name is derived from the name of the Inuit god of the polar bear. The band's debut album "Seqinitta Qinngorpaatit" was released in 2009 and became very popular in Greenland. Their last album "Nanook" (2013) was released on the Danish label 'Mermaid Records' and was released outside Greenland. This album is also released on Mermaid Records, and its popularity has spread throughout Scandinavia.
