Following the previous album, the band went back to the U.S. to record in Los Angeles, and this 5th album, the last one on the MOON label, reached one of the peaks in their career. All songs were written by Yoshihiko Ando, composed by Kazuto Murata, and arranged by Ronnie Foster and Kazuto Murata, who worked on the previous album "Showdown". The album includes songs recorded by local musicians summoned to Japan and songs recorded in Japan by Toben Yukawa, Yoshihiro Tomonari, Keiichi Yamamoto, Hiroshi Koitabashi, and others. This concept album is based on the theme of a moment in summer when the sky is clear and cloudless. The album includes many popular songs such as the title track "Boy's Life," which opens with a mature chorus work, and "STAY THE YOUNG," an AOR number that was used as a commercial song for Carrozzeria.
