Richard D. James, a.k.a. Aphex Twin, released "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" in 1994 at the age of 22, and it is one of the greatest ambient albums in the history of music. This monumental work, which was also the first album for the Aphex Twin after they moved to WARP, is now being released in a new expanded edition with additional material to mark the 30th anniversary of its release. This 30th anniversary expanded edition will be released as a Japan-only 3-CD box set, a 4-LP set with Japanese language obi, an import 3-CD set, an import 4-LP set, and a set with a T-shirt (Japan-only 3-CD box set / 4-LP set with Japanese language obi).Also included as additional sound sources are "#19," previously available only on LP vinyl, "th1 [evnslower]," which is being released in physical format for the first time, and "Rhubarb Orc. 19.53 Rev," which is being officially released for the first time.
