The Linda Lindas, a four-piece punk rock band from Los Angeles, are making their major-label debut. Five years after their library concert that shocked the world, they have completed “GOTTAGETOUT,” a Gen Z punk rock anthem that captures the changes and growth of all the members as they break free from their past selves. A vinyl LP is also being released simultaneously. Having garnered attention for signing with Epitaph! and taking their band name from director Atsuhiro Yamashita’s film *LINDALINDALINDA*, they have gained popularity in Japan through appearances at Summer Sonic and Punk Spring, as well as their solo tour in Japan. Released under their new contract with Reprise/Warner Records, this album reflects the band’s journey of self-discovery. Seeking to break free from the routines they’d grown accustomed to after years of momentum, they retreated to Palm Springs and Long Beach, gathering in the same room for the first time to write songs together. This experiment in collaboration became a creative breakthrough, resulting in their most intentional, expansive, and personal body of work to date. Pushing the boundaries of their sound through new textures, influences, and songwriting approaches, this ambitious album captures a band unafraid to challenge themselves—ranging from intimate reflections on belonging and self-discovery to explosive expressions of frustration, hope, and community.
