Bob Dylan's newest release is the "bootleg series" that fans have been waiting for the longest! Bob Dylan, one of the most important artists in the rock world, toured Japan from March to April 2014. His new release is "The Basement Tapes Complete: Bootleg Series Vol. 11. This historic item contains many recently discovered recordings of Bob Dylan and The Band's legendary 1967 recording session, restored and recovered from the original tapes. The recordings, supervised by The Band's Garth Hudson and others, are as close as possible to the sound of 1967, and are presented in chronological order based on his own recordings. The album will be housed in a 7" box (similar to the previous deluxe edition of "Another Self Portrait"). Dylan, in his mid-60's heyday, was still writing great songs with a strong desire to create, even while recovering from a motorcycle accident, and The Band, who backed him on the eve of his debut, held a legendary recording session in a secret basement in Woodstock called "Big Pink" in the summer of 1967. The legendary recording session at "Big Pink," a secret basement in Woodstock, in the summer of 1967, was first partially released in 1975 with the release of "Basement," but now the secret recording is finally revealed in its entirety on a 6-CD set. This is the bootleg series that Dylan fans have been hoping for the most, and it will make you feel as if you were in a time machine, transported to Woodstock in the summer of 1967, and listening to a 26-year-old Bob Dylan and friends playing in a corner of Big Pink's basement.
