SSW Benjamin Booker's new release, Witness, continues the punk spirit of his last album, 2014's Benjamin Booker, while delving deeper into his passion for flavorful soul, R&B, and blues. All songs were written and composed by Booker himself, produced by Sam Cohen, who worked with Kevin Morby, and mixed by Sean Everett, known for his work with Alabama Shakes and others. Recording was done at Isocon Studios in Woodstock, NY and Red Delicious Studios in New York City. Their last album, "Benjamin Booker," was the highest selling album in the history of the label (ATO) since Alabama Shakes, resulting in appearances at various festivals, tours with Jack White, and appearances on popular shows such as Jules Holland, Letterman, and Conan, and was featured in the UK Sunday Times, MOJO magazine in the U.K., The New York Times, Rolling Stone, NPR, GQ magazine, and other influential media.The Times praised "a messy, raging mixture of punk, blues rock, and soul.
