Musica Ficta is an ensemble specializing in Latin American and Spanish classical music, with tenor (& percussion), recorder, and baroque guitar (& harana) as core members. Based in Colombia, the ensemble has performed throughout South America, Europe, the United States, Singapore, Turkey, etc. It includes art songs by Juan de Navas (1632-1687), who became harpist of the Royal Chapel of Madrid in 1669 (many are world premiere recordings) and instrumental music of the same period (Buquet's Recorder Suite is a world premiere recording).
