Later, on the label's second release, a collection of concertos by Joseph Haydn and Carl Stamitz (PTC-5186823), she gave an excellent performance with young oboe player Ramon Ortega Quero, and the following third release, "Bach Ambotando" (KKC-6355/ PTC- The fourth album on the PENTATONE label is a collection of works by Debussy, Poulenc, Saint-Saens, Ravel, Bizet, Fauré, and others with a French esprit. A violinist and arranger, he was born into a musical family: his grandfather was Erich Lane, concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, and his father was Andreas Lane, concertmaster of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. He also made great efforts to perform and record his arrangements, and this "Carmen Suite" has been performed by François Bornu (1840-1920), Pablo de Sarasate (1844-1908), Jenée Hubaye (1858-1937), Vladimir Horowitz (1903-1989), Franz Waxman (1906-1967), and Ana de la Vega's superb arrangement of the same piece. Ana de la Vega's excellent performance will allow you to enjoy the gorgeous sound of the flute. Born in Australia to English and Argentine parents, Ana de la Vega studied with Margaret Crawford at the University of Sydney. She later studied in Paris as the last pupil of Raymond Guiot.
