The rare "Die Zauberflote" left by Wilhelm Furtwängler just before his death is now available on the WS-standard reissue series of historical recordings by Urania Records, an independent Italian label founded near Lake Como in 1998. The "Magic Bullet Shooter" by Wilhelm Furtwängler is now available! This recording was made live at the Salzburg Festival in 1954, the year of Furtwängler's death, and became the talk of the town when it was discovered in the 1990s. Fortunately, the recording was made by an Austrian broadcast engineer and is of high quality. Although it is a monaural recording, it conveys the power and realism of a live performance, and is still enjoyed by many audiences today. Enjoy this reissue by the acclaimed Urania Records of Furtwängler's performance, which, although it was made just before his death, has not diminished. Tokyo M-Plus
