Pietro Giorgio Avodano (dates of birth and death unknown) was a violinist and composer born in Genoa who moved to Lisbon at the age of 19. Pedro António Avodano (1714–1782) was his son. Both were active in the court orchestra. Francisco António de Almeida (c. 1702–c. 1755) studied in Italy by order of King João V of Portugal and contributed to the development of court music in Lisbon.
