Description:
This is the Sven Wonder of Lebanon! New release from Cosmic Analog Ensemble by multi-instrumentalist Charif Megarbane. The new album is a plethora of musical elements from all over the world, from vintage-like cinematic sounds reminiscent of Gainsbourg's films, library music with the cuteness of Crimpérai and Children's Music, to intense funk that sways in waves of Madlib/Yesterday's New Quintet-style grooves. The album is a pleasant surprise, packed with musical elements from all corners of the globe. As with his previous work, his ability to construct amusement park-like instrumental music is astonishing. The cover design, with its cute illustrations you'll want to hang in your room, was done by Simone Cihlar, known for her work with Anderson Paak. and Tapioca, etc. This is a must-have record!
