Description:

Johnny Rotten, vocalist for the Sex Pistols and one of the most charismatic figures of the punk rock movement, formed Public Image Limited (PiL) in 1978 under his real name, John Lydon. He became a pioneer of the post-punk movement, reinterpreting and re-building crumbling punk rock. In December of the same year, "Public Image (First Issue)" was released. The album was followed by "Metal Box (Second Edition)," the first UK edition of which was released in a 12-inch metal film can, and "The Flowers Of Romance," a monstrous work that combined tribal rhythms with dub, a genre Lydon was into at the time. Flowers Of Romance", which combines tribal rhythms with dub, which Lydon was into at the time. The band continues to change members, and in 2018 they made their first visit to Japan in five years. The live archive of PiL is now available! To promote "Album" released by Virgin Records in 1986 with top-notch artists such as Ginger Baker, Tony Williams, Steve Vai, Ryuichi Sakamoto, etc., PiL toured Europe and the U.S. from May to October. As a part of the tour, Scott performed on May 14, 1986, at the Scottish Music Festival. As part of the tour, a live performance in Glasgow, Scotland on May 14 of the same year was recorded and broadcast for a radio program. This live album was recorded and broadcasted for the radio program. The first song "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin was played in the background and Lydon started to provoke the audience. Lydon, as usual, showed his twisted side as he provoked the audience to join him on stage, and he also showed his service spirit in the set list, playing not only songs from the "Album" but also from the Sex Pistols. This is a rare archive that captures a time when the band was becoming more united despite the many problems they were facing, such as the departure of Keith Levin and Jah Wobble and financial difficulties! Imported domestic edition with Japanese obi and bilingual liner notes in English. John Lydon (vo) John McGuirk (g) Lou Edmonds (g, kbds) Alan Diaz (b) Bruce Smith (ds)
