Aerosmith, a rock band that stands at the top of the American rock scene, appeared on the scene in Boston in 1973 and has steadily worked its way to stardom despite many twists and turns. In March 2022, the band will begin an extended tour in Las Vegas, but drummer Joey Kramer will not participate, and John Douglas will fill in for him. However, due to Steven Tyler's poor health, the long-term tour was cancelled. In May 2023, it was announced that the "Peace Out Tour" would begin in September, but the tour was postponed again due to Steven Tyler's illness. After the band's first tour in Japan in February 1977, they started the "Aerosmith Express Tour," a 56-show tour of Europe and North America that included a live performance on December 22, 1977, in Melbourne, Australia, and a live performance on December 23, 1977, in London, Australia. The December 22 concert in Landover, Maryland was recorded and broadcast for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour".This is a live album recorded at the time of the broadcast and includes the complete concert, including encores. The tour was a great success, as the album "Rocks" released the previous year ranked No. 3 on the U.S. album chart and had three hit singles, and this concert was a great success.
