After stopping his career as Simon & Garfunkel in 1970, Paul Simon actively pursued his solo career. The Rhythm Of The Saints," which continued in the vein of his previous album, "Graceland," was a huge hit, reaching No. 4 on the U.S. album charts. The following year in 1991, during his first large-scale world tour as a solo artist, he performed in Japan for the second time as a solo artist in October of the same year. The performance at Tokyo Dome on the 12th, the last day of the tour, was recorded and broadcast for Japanese TV programs and overseas radio programs.This live album is a live album using the sound recordings used for the broadcast. The live performance, which can be said to be the culmination of his career at this point in his career as well as his dignity as a top and veteran musician, is a masterpiece.
