In 1979, the album "Love Drive" was released with Michael Schenker, who had left UFO, as a guest, and the band began a tour with Michael Schenker making a comeback as an official member, but he left after only 26 shows. The band recalled Matthias Japs and resumed the tour. Disc 1 is a live archive of the band's second concert in Japan in June 1979, and Disc 2 is a live archive of the band's headlining performance as Thin Lizzy's replacement at the Reading Festival in August of the same year. Disc 1 is a live archive of their second visit to Japan in June 1979, and Disc 2 is a live archive of their appearance at the Reading Festival in August 1979. Both were recorded and broadcasted for radio programs, and were converted to albums from the broadcast audio masters.Although not recorded in its entirety due to the time constraints of the program, this is a live album from the period when the German rock band had their first hit in the U.K. and the U.S., and you can feel the energy of the band and the enthusiasm of the audience at that time! Imported domestic edition with bilingual English commentary and obi.
