Agustín Pereira Lucena, Argentina’s solitary guitarist, is well known for his 1970 debut album, his 1975 masterpiece *Ese Día Va a Llegar*, and other works that are staples of guidebooks such as *Música Locomondo* and *Brisa Brasileira*. His 2009 album *42:53*—which effectively became his final work—is now available on vinyl. This masterpiece sublimates his passionate feelings for neighboring Brazil into a unique form of saudade. Centered around a sentimental sound and enchanting scat vocals that spark the imagination, it features a floating electric piano and the gentle, enveloping vocals of Adriana Ríos, creating a truly beautiful sonic world.
