Birth of an ultra-high quality SACD/CD hybrid disc featuring half-inch analog masters. Ultra Art Records, LLC is pleased to announce the release of Riko Ogawa's "Valution" SACD/CD hybrid disc. The original recording was made in June 2018 at Pony Canyon Yoyogi Studio in Yoyogi, Tokyo, using a Pyramix DAW and recorded digitally at 384 kHz 32 bit, but for the production of this album, the digital source was once converted to a half The digital sound source was converted to a half-inch analog sound source using a Studer A820, from which the audio data for the DSD layer and CD layer was newly created. Generally, SACDs are created by converting the digital source directly to DSD, but Ultra Art Records has taken the time-consuming step of creating the SACD from the analog source in order to take advantage of the characteristics of DSD, resulting in a sound with the expressive power and spatial reproducibility that is typical of DSD. The result is a sound with the extended expressiveness and spatial reproducibility typical of DSD.
