To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the birth of this eternal idol (born on September 26, 1926), the Liberty label's paper-jacket collection (30 titles in total), which was released in 2010 and became a hit, is being reissued at a reduced price. He sings jazzy hit songs backed by the dynamic sound of West Coast master Gerald Wilson. Backed by the dynamic sound of the Gerald Wilson Big Band, one of the best on the West Coast, Julie sings a selection of hit songs from the mid-1960s. Some of them are jazz-rock numbers such as Herbie Hancock's "Watermelon Man," but Julie sings them in her own style and with great sex appeal.
