＜A masterpiece of traditional Turkish music + dub = psychedelic belly dance music is now available again at a lower price! Baba Zura is known as a popular jam band that plays Turkish folk songs with their own unique essence, and has already visited Japan several times. Their masterpiece "Psychedelic Belly Dance Music" (2003), which made their existence known, is now available again. This album is known as the work in which the general manager of dub music, Mad Professor, participated as a full guest, and it was a great success not only in Turkey but also in Europe and Japan at that time. This album was an experiment in a previously unheard-of technique of dubbing small songs based on Turkish folk songs (known locally as "haluk"), and it became a template for the subsequent alternative music scene in Turkey. They were also featured prominently in the Turkish film "Crossing the Bridge" that was previously released in Japan, and the soundtrack jacket and the image of the film, "a mysterious belly dancer with an electric tin can," were taken from the jacket of "Psychedelic Belly Dance Music. The soundtrack cover and the image of the film, "Mysterious Belly Dancer with Electric Sazz," were taken from the jacket of "Psychedelic Belly Dance Music. In other words, the movie "Crossing the Bridge" was inspired by this album, and it was a work that symbolized the alternative culture in Turkey at the beginning of the 21st century.
