Description:
The "Singing Allegro" of the great senior and the talent of the boy who was fascinated by it, played by a series of virtuosos! Johann Christian Bach was born in 1735 as the youngest son of the great Bach, and after learning the front-line musical style in Italy, the home of opera, he moved to London, where he achieved great success. When Mozart was a young boy visiting London with his father, he was fascinated by the beauty of the flowing melodies created by this great master, and he learned a great deal from him by arranging his works. This reverence continued into his later years, and when J.C. Bach died on New Year's Day 1782, just as he was beginning to establish himself in Vienna, he lamented in a letter to his father Leopold that it was "a great loss to the world of music. J.C. Bach, who was as talented in keyboard music as the great Bach, published numerous sonatas and concertos, especially for the piano, which began to spread early in London, and also worked on sonatas for duet, for which surprisingly few 18th century pieces remain. This album is a collection of those works and Mozart's works for four hands, recorded on a fortepiano model of the 18th century.Eger, who boasts an impressive career as a conductor and harpsichordist with the Ancient Chamber Orchestra and is also an accomplished fortepiano player, and his duo partner Nepomnyashchaya's interpretation fully highlights the fortepiano's unique appeal, which has different characteristics in each register. The interpretation by Eger and his duo partner Nepomnyashchaya highlights the charm of the fortepiano, which has different characteristics in each register, and allows us to enjoy the light dialogue between the lower and upper registers that both composers have skillfully woven together. The engineering, which accurately captures the direct sound of the instruments in a moderately reverberant environment, is also unique to LINN. Naxos Japan
