Felix Mendelssohn and his sister Fanny Mendelssohn, born to a grandfather, the renowned philosopher Moses, and a father, the wealthy, music-loving banker Abraham, not only demonstrated musical prowess from an early age, but also used this talent to the fullest in their privileged family environment. They were the center of attention in the salon. Initially, it is said that their father Abraham thought that his sister Fanny was more musically gifted than her brother Felix, but the social climate of the time made it difficult for women to be active as musicians, and Fanny eventually kept her role at home, although she left behind many works even after her marriage, She is also known for her support of her brother Felix as an amateur musician. Fanny died in May 1847 at the age of 41, and Felix followed suit six months later in November 1847. The story is told with lively narration and music.
