Commemorative album for the band's arrival in Japan! Warlord, the kings of American Epic Metal, will release their last tribute to the late William! OfDestruction Have Begun... ～And The Cannons Of Destruction Have Begun...", the band established itself as a cult band with its European and lyrical melodic sound that has created a passionate following in some quarters, even though it is an American band. Led by guitarist William J. Tsamis, the band's leader and composer, and drummer Mark Sonder (later of FATES ARNING and others), the band expanded its support base in the United States and Europe. After an initial hiatus, the band released a new album "Rising Out Of The Ashes" in 2002 with Joakim Kuntz of HAMMERFALL as singer.In 2015, Nicholas Leptos (Vo) of ARRAYAN PATH joined the band, and the band released "The Hunt For Damien", a re-recording of past classics. In 2021, while there were hopes for a revival of the band as epic metal champions, news came suddenly of the death of William J. Tsamis, who had been in poor health for some time. This seemed to be the end of WARLORD's history. However, Mark and singer Giles Lavery, who has been with the band since 2015, have reconstructed the recordings and other material William left behind during his lifetime and have completed a new WARLORD album to convey his legacy of greatness. The songs on this album are so "WARLORD-like" that WARLORD fans can't help but think "there he is" and can't help but cry.In September, WARLORD will perform in Japan for the first and last time, which William was unable to do. The bonus track for the Japanese release is a demo he left behind.
