(Original release date: November 1, 1984) ＜The Players＞The strongest fusion group, nicknamed "Japanese Staff" or "Japanese Weather Report". The signboard of the Roppongi Pit Inn. The group's predecessor was the Korgen Band. The Players are a super group in which each member can be a leader, and have supported many major artists such as Minako Yoshida, Tatsuro Yamashita, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Terumasa Hino, Sadao Watanabe, etc. The Players are also known as the "Japanese Staff" and "Japanese Weather Report.He is generally known for his regular appearances on Tamori's legendary variety show "Tonight is the Best! and was also involved in Tamori's "Tamori 3: A History of Postwar Japanese Songs" (release canceled).
