Description:
First analog release of two superb groove tracks recorded live on the street by Makoto Kubota at the most powerful Koenji and Tokushima Awa Odori dance in the 2010s. Zomeki Ichi" was released in the summer of 2010 with Makoto Kubota's recording of the Koenji Awa Odori dance in Tokyo. It was a big hit, receiving a great response from not only persistent Awa Odori fans, but also from world music fans and club music fans. The "Zo-meki" series has released eight CDs to date. This is the extra edition of the "Zo-meki" series, and the first analog version as a 12-inch single. The A-side is a moss work that has continued to influence the new generation of Awa Odori dancers for more than half a century since its birth in 1968 as a leading figure of the single beat style. It was performed at Koenji in Koji Koenji Koenji's era as the head of the gong group Koji Tani. His flamboyant but stoic performance has the dignity of an unrivaled champion. The reverberations of the city and the reactions of the enthusiastic audience were also recorded along with the sound of the explosion. The B-side is a rare live recording of a joint session by the Shinmachibashi Yoyoi Hayashiko led by Harusame Yanagimachi, who passed away last year, and the Bizukuren, known for its unique groove. For half a century, Yoshi Yoshi Yoshi Bayashi has been getting the audience into a whirlpool of dancing in a plaza, not on a pier, as if it were a dance hall in Jamaica. On the other hand, Bizukiren's groove, which boasts the deepest groove of all, is as dynamic and astonishingly precise as that of Earl Palmer, the founder of rock drums. Recorded in the 2010s by Makoto Kubota with a ROLAND R4 recording device, a hand mic, and a SONY ECM 999. Since it is a moving recording with a marching band, you can enjoy the interesting balance change over time. The retro cover photo was taken in 2024 by up-and-coming photographer Hiroyoshi Taira, who will open his photography exhibition "Zomeki" at the Olympus Gallery in Shinjuku this March.
