Capitol Records' easy listening project: Holly Ridge Strings features Stu Phillips, the driving force behind the strings. The album also features arrangements by Perry Botkin, Jr. and others, including the famous author of "Wonderful Summer," and offers a gorgeous sound pattern. In the beginning of the album, the Beatles' songs M1 and M2 were newly recorded in stereo, and a total of eight of their numbers, including the encores, were lined up. M19 and 20 by Paul McCartney's beloved Nat King Cole are also included on this disc for the first time. M8 to M11, which are fluent Beach Boys songs, were embodied in Eiichi Otaki's mind as the "NIGARA SONG BOOK" and imprinted with his imprint.
