＜The 56th issue of the "60's GARAGE ROCKIN' OLDAYS" reissue series, supervised by Jimmy Masuko and presented by All Days Records, features 30 solid beat numbers by The Shanes, known as one of Sweden's four greatest pop groups. The Shanes are known as one of the four major Swedish pop groups, and this album features 30 songs that are full of the band's appeal as a solid beat band. The Shanes were one of Sweden's four biggest pop groups between 1963 and 1968, along with Hep Stars, Aura and Janglers, and Torges. Emerging from the northernmost city of Kiruna, the group began as an instrumental band under the influence of the Shadows, then Mersey Beat, and then British R&B, and put 12 songs into the Swedish Top 10 charts. Known as "the long-haired bums with the worst sound" because of their looks, they were a solid beat band in their early years.The album features material from the first album "Let Us Show You!" and the popular second album "The Shanegang," both of which were heavily influenced by R&R and R&B before they went pop, plus singles such as the killer freak beat "I Don't Want Your Love.
