Amos Lee, a singer/songwriter with a soulful voice that penetrates the heart, has released his 11th studio album. The lyrics, which focus squarely on the theme of love and the fragility of human life, such as aging and death, are sung with beautiful yet sad melodies. The album was created in Marlborough, a rural town between New York City and Woodstock, where Amos Lee camped out with his longtime band members. Amos Lee is a singer/songwriter born in Philadelphia in 1977. After graduating from college, he worked as a teacher and sang in clubs, where his talent was discovered and he was signed to Blue Note.He was selected by Norah Jones in 2004 and Bob Dylan in 2005 as an O.A. He made his debut in 2005 with "Amos Lee". The album was highly acclaimed and won a gold disc. He also appeared on many popular TV shows. He continued to release albums consistently with "Supply and Demand (2006)" and "Last Days at the Lodge (2008)," and "Mission Bell (2011)" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart. His songs have been used in many popular TV dramas such as "Grey's Anatomy," and he has been on the O.A. for many artists including Elvis Costello and Paul Simon.Since leaving Blue Note, he has released My New Moon (2018), Dreamland (2022), and more recently two tribute albums with Chet Baker and Lucinda Williams.
