Belfast, Ireland blues guitarist Dom Martin, who has been called the heir to Rory Gallagher, makes his first appearance in Japan with his third album.Since his debut in 2019, he has won numerous UK and EURO blues awards and has performed at blues and rock Blues & Rock festivals all over Europe. His amazing technique of using both delicate acoustic and powerful electric guitars and his masculine vocals have been praised by the media and his popularity has skyrocketed! Produced by Grammy winner Chris O'Brien. Dom Martin is a 32-year-old blues guitarist from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Raised in a dangerous city rife with drugs and violence, he immersed himself in the music of Rory Gallagher and Roy Buchanan from the age of five, picking up the guitar taught by his father. After his father died at age 21, he became addicted to alcohol and drugs, and after four years of not playing guitar at all, he gave up drugs once and for all and began performing professionally at age 25. He gradually gained popularity and debuted with "Spain To Italy" in 2019.The band was suddenly nominated for the UK & European Blues Award for Best Newcomer. After an extended European tour, they released "Live At The Harlington" in 2021, and their second album "A Savage Life" in 2022 received rave reviews from the BBC and many other media, and was inducted into the UK Blues Awards' Acoustic Hall of Fame for the third year in a row. The album was nominated in five other categories. It was also nominated in five other categories. He also performs live with a blues-rock band reminiscent of Rory Gallagher, and has been re-evaluated as an O.A. for Eric Gales.
