Swedish male SSW, Björn Järtsby's secret self-produced masterpiece "On the Line" from 1980 is reissued. He was active behind the scenes as a composer, arranger, guitarist, and producer, and this album was blown up in Stockholm in 1980 under his own name. It is also important to note that all the songs are written in English, but above all, the quality of the songs written from his own pen is overwhelming. The quality of the songs from his own pen is overwhelming, and the perfect fusion of Scandinavian blue and wistful melodies, lively arrangements, and tight performances make this one of the best AOR/Free Soul/Mellow Groove albums from Scandinavia. The crisp guitar sound and uplifting keys on the chic 80's funk track "01.The high level of performance on the title track "06. On the line", "02. Gone in the morning" with acoustic guitar, "09. Hello my friend" and "07. The songs that make you listen to them are also great, but the true gems are "08. No one like", "10. Love & devotion", and "03. Do you really", which are free soul songs with an exhilarating feeling that makes your heart empty and a somewhat sad blue melody that sinks into your heart. These are masterpieces that fuse tight, earthy playing, unrefined vocals, and soft Scandinavian-style melodies. This is one of those albums that are known only to those in the know, and since it was originally an independently produced album, the analog version was known as a rare copy, but now it is being reissued as a long-awaited official reissue. In addition to keywords such as Scandinavian, AOR, and Free Soul, the backing band includes the backing band of ABBA, and there are many other points of interest. The most important thing is that it is a beautiful work that can be competed only by the quality of the music.
