Up-and-coming cellist Tatsuru Sasanuma's spirited Dvocon! This is the first EXTON recording by up-and-coming cellist Tatsuru Sasanuma, who is widely active in Japan and abroad as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest principal of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. This is a live recording of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra's performance in Japan on July 6, 2011 at Suntory Hall. In addition to the cello concerto, this disc features Vltava (Moldau) from Smetana's masterpiece "My Homeland" and an encore by Sasanuma and the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, allowing you to fully enjoy Czech music. The live performance of Sasanuma's cello, which captivates the audience with its passionate performance that is uniquely Japanese, and his other performances are full of the spirit that only a live performance can provide. ＜Sasanuma won the third prize in the string quartet division at the ARD Munich International Competition. He won the first prize at the Young Concert Artists International Audition in New York. As a soloist, he won second prize at the Tokyo Music Competition and was selected for the Japan Music Competition. As a chamber musician, he won first prize at the Yokohama International Competition, the Romania International Competition, and the Salzburg Mozart International Competition.After graduating at the top of her class from Toho Girls' High School, she completed the Soloist Diploma Course at Toho Gakuen School of Music, and graduated from the Faculty of Letters at Gakushuin College. She is currently enrolled in the graduate school of Toho Gakuen School of Music, and is a member of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Currently enrolled in the graduate school of Toho Gakuen School of Music, she is an academy student of NHK Symphony Orchestra and will release her debut CD "Words of Dearest" (Nippon Columbia Record Art Special Selection) in January 2019. He studied under V. Adamila, Nobuo Furukawa, and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi. He is a member of Quartet Amabile and La Luce String Octet. The instrument used is a 1771 C.F.Landolfi Soji collection.
