Release of Zilphema, a trio band led by one of the leading guitarists of our time, Lionel Rueke. Lionel Rueke, the guitarist at the heart of Zilphema, has been a band member of musicians such as Herbie Hancock, Esperazza Spalding, Chick Corea, and Carlos Santana. His participation on the Grammy-nominated Miho Hasama's album "Dancer in No Whore" has also been a topic of discussion. 2012's "Heritage" was produced by Robert Glasper. 2015 saw the release of the live studio album "Gaia," and to date, he has released four albums with Blue Note. In 2015, he released a live studio album, Gaia, and to date has released four albums on Blue Note. In 2017, he released music with Robert Glasper, Herbie Hancock, and Wayne Shorter in the supergroup Blue Note All Stars, formed for Blue Note's 75th anniversary celebrations. He has been working with Ferenc Meneses and Massimo Biolkati as a trio since their days at Berklee College of Music.Since this is the most important activity for Lionel and his friends, Lionel wanted to play not under his own name, but under the band name "Zilphema", which is a part of their respective names.
