The latest in the "Eastern Voices" series is a special collaboration between the Berlin-based Israeli and Iranian group Sistanagira and renowned Israeli violinist Guy Braunstein. Sistanagira has captivated audiences around the world by drawing out new responses by approaching each other with curiosity while maintaining the traditions of Jewish and Iranian music that have been handed down over the centuries. This year's concert will feature works of their own creation as well as music by Iranian music maestro Parviz Meshkatian, who was the first concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic for 13 years from 2000, and regularly performs with Martha Argerich, Maurizio Pollini, Yuja Wang, and others. A wonderful dialogue with Guy Braunstein, a world-renowned musician who has performed regularly with Martha Argerich, Maurizio Pollini, Yuja Wang, and many others, will build a great bridge between the two worlds.
