The late Jon Hiseman (dr/per) and Dick Heckstall-Smith (sax) formed this famous British Jazz Rock band in '68, and this is a 3CD+DVD (2CD+DVD) set of live and studio live recordings from '21 in Europe, mainly from videos and recordings of German music TV program appearances. CD: Disc 1 and DVD include the studio live sound and video recordings for German TV program broadcasts in '69/'70, and CD: Disc 1 & 2 include the live performance in Vieena, Austria in November '69 and the live performance in Vieena, Austria in November '70, which are both recorded for the first time in official format. Vieena in November '69 and Messepalast in Frankfurt, Germany in October '71, both of which are being recorded for the first time officially. The famous German "BEAT-CLUB" video and sound recordings show the band in its early and late stages, as well as the two rare performances in Austria in '69 and Germany in '71, which capture the band in its transitional phase of growth and maturity. The sound recordings of these two performances are also included, and fans of the band should not miss them.This is a must-see and must-hear live disc for British Jazz/Rock fans, adding new episodes to the many previously discovered recordings! The master is a newly digitally remastered recording by Eroc of GROBSCHNITT, who has worked on a series of live recordings released by the same label. The booklet includes a commentary by British music journalist Chris Welch and comes in an exclusive slipcase.
