Description:

Trio Chausson Celebrates 20 Years of Freshness Trio Chausson celebrates 20 years of freshness in 2021. The Trio Chausson has been highly acclaimed around the world for their always fresh, energetic and warm performances. They have also visited Japan for the La Folle Journée Music Festival, where their performances were highly acclaimed. They have recently recorded Mendelssohn. The two sisters, Fanny and Felix, have recorded the Mendelssohn Piano Trio as a coupling. Felix's piano trio is known for the difficulty of the piano part, but in this performance, one does not feel that at all, and the performance is filled with a pleasant sense of speed. It is often said that Fanny is even more talented than her brother Felix, but this recording clearly shows how wonderful Fanny's works are. Above all, the music of Trio Chausson is a wonderful piece. Mathieu Handscheuwerkel (violin) studied at the Paris Conservatory with Régis Pasquier and others, and from 2012 to 2015 was a soloist with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. He also played with the Orchestre de Paris.Since 2018 he has been a member of the Trio Chausson. He plays on "The Little Prince" made by JF in 2003. Antoine Landowski (cello) is a founding member of Trio Chausson. He studied at the Paris Conservatory under Philippe Murel and graduated with highest honors. He also studied under Wolfgang Boettcher. He has also worked with conductors such as Pretor Guillen and Armin Jordan. In addition to his work with the Trio Chausson, he also organizes music festivals. His instrument of choice is the 1852 Charles-Adolphe Mokatel. Boris de Laroche-Lambert (piano) studied at the Paris Conservatory with Gérard Frémy and Nicolas Angelisch. He is also the arranger of many of the arrangements performed by the trio Chausson. King International
