ENERGY IN AN EMPTY TANK WORLD", the band's 1989 debut, was well received by music magazines and John Peel, and a total of 2,000 copies were pressed. Despite the sales, the recordings were not released in a satisfactory form due to recording problems, and the band members hated the recordings so much that they have refused to reissue them. After 35 years, various circumstances have come together, and the original release company, FIRST STRIKE, has finally announced the reissue of this completely remastered and reborn work. JAILCELL RECIPES was formed by local skaters in Wigan, England in the late 80's when the scene and bands were getting smaller, The first album was based on rough hardcore speed with the bass player at the helm, but it also showed a sound that utilized melodies and sometimes incorporated reggae-style parts. Just five months after the release of the first album, the band released its first EP, which focused on more melodic songs.The blue cry melodies sublimated with influences from DCHC in the mid-80s were later carried over to the second album released in 1990. This reissue features 9 songs, mainly selected hardcore numbers from the original 1st album, with 4 songs cut from the A-side side. The B side is a melodic side with 6 songs from the first album and onward. On the B-side, six songs from the first album and later are selected for the melodic side, and three previously unreleased songs recorded between 1991 and 1992, which the band members say were their favorite songs in the history of the band, are also included. These unreleased songs were recorded between 1991 and 1992, and were his favorite songs in the band's history. The melodious songs after "POULTON ROAD" were strongly influenced by mid-period DCHC, and were mixed with the CRUZ sound like ALL/DEACENDENTS! This is a perfect release with all the members who were involved in the original release, and they have turned down numerous offers to reissue the album.It goes without saying that this is a satisfying and wonderful work that is not to be messed with by others. This time it will be released in the UK in three different colored and black vinyl versions, but thanks to the kindness of the label, it will be distributed in a clear vinyl version with Japan-only specifications. Limited edition of 200 clear vinyl copies for distribution in Japan/with obi/with liner insert/with A3 double-sided printed poster. Remastered and edited version with 18 songs selected by the label and the members. Includes a 40-page booklet with a large number of previously unreleased photos and liner notes by Alan of FIRST STRIKE and all members of the band. From the information above
