Pentatonix's latest Christmas album, "Holidays Around the World," featuring artists from around the world, will once again light up the Christmas season with a cappella music from Pentatonix. Pentatonix, a world-renowned a cappella group with over 5.7 billion video views and 19.7 million YouTube channel subscribers, will release its sixth Christmas album, "Holidays Around the World. The first song from the album, "Players for This World," is a cover of a song written by Diane Warren and sung by Cher as the theme song for a documentary on the Syrian conflict that aired on HBO in 2017, and features not only a cappella but also violin, viola, cello, and bass strings. The addition of strings, including violin, viola, cello, bass, etc., as well as a cappella, creates an emotional song that reflects on the current world situation and prays for peace. This album will include many covers of classic Christmas songs.In November, the band will embark on a North American tour of 22 arena-sized venues, their largest tour to date. Member Scott said, "'Christmas season' has taken on a new meaning for us over the past few years, and we've come to cherish it more than ever. We wanted to spread this feeling as far and wide as possible. So I'm trying something I've never done before, building bridges to different cultures and genres. I can't wait to enjoy this season with you all! He said.
