Oceans Of Slumber

Description:

OCEANS OF SLUMBER, an alternative progressive metal band from Texas, U.S.A. The fourth album, which the members declare to be the best work in their career history, is the self-titled album "OCEANS OF SLUMBER" 2013's album "OCEANS OF SLUMBER". OCEANS OF SLUMBER, which debuted with "Aetherial," is a six-piece whose talent blossomed when female vocalist Cammie, with her soulful, smoky voice, joined the band in 2014. The band has since released two full-lengths, "Winter" (2016) and "The Banished Heart" (2018), to high acclaim. Oceans Of Slumber, the band's fourth self-titled album in two years, "is a new chapter for us," says Dobber, the band's creative force, redefining the band's sound and clarifying the concept for a new era. The album is a grandiose world. The album features a series of high-density tracks, including the epic "Soundtrack To My Last Day" (1), the massive "Pray For Fire" (2), and the scale of the title track (3), "A Return To The Earth Below". The album is filled with high-density songs one after the other. In some respects, the conventional style is carried forward by the presence of effectively placed instrumental pieces. Two instrumental tracks, (4) "Imperfect Divinity," which creates an unsettling atmosphere like a movie soundtrack, and (9) "September (Those Who Come Before)," surrounded by beautiful piano music, enhance the mystique of the work. Another new attraction of this album is that it contains songs that depict conflicts rather than the constant pursuit of happiness, such as (8) "I Mourn These Yellowed Leaves," a song about people changing like leaves changing colors and falling in autumn, and the need to accept human relationships. The final track on this album is a cover of "Wolf Moon (Including Zoanthropic Paranoia)" released by TYPE O NEGATIVE in 1996. Cammie's overwhelming vocal ability has attracted attention in various fields. Cammie's overwhelming vocal ability has attracted attention from various fields, and she has been selected for "TRANSITUS", the latest work of AYREON, a project led by Arjen Anthony Lucassen, and is becoming a presence to keep an eye on.
