The Saint Johns" is the debut album from the US male/female duo, The Saint Johns, a duo of Florida natives Jordan Meredith (MS) and Lewis Johnson (MR). They met at a friend's party in 2008 and immediately hit it off with a Jack Johnson cover, guitar in hand. Since meeting in 2008, the duo has put in 10,000 hours of work on their debut album, which they are proud to present to the world. Producer David Kahn (Paul McCartney, The Strokes, Lana Del Rey) has brought out more than just the usual male-female duo potential.The EP "Open Water" released in 2013 was well received, and the "Late Show with David Letterman", an unprecedented TV appearance for the band at the time, paved the way for their major label debut, but at the time they still had a strong 'good old country rock' feel to them. At the time, however, they were still very much in the 'good old country rock' vein. The band's production work, which included a full band and a clearer groove, helped to sublimate their music to a high degree of perfection. The harmonies created by the twin male and female vocals and the sad emotional landscape remain intact, while the fresh guitar sound envelops the listener with a pleasant and invigorating feeling. The fresh sound is perfect for the new season, and this album is a must-have for spring 2016!
