New release by the Yotam Silverstein Trio, one of the finest guitarists of our time, featuring Carlos Aguirre and other splendid guests, and world jazz with strong influences from South America and the Middle East. This new trio album features Brazilian pianist Vitor Gonsauves and drummer Daniel Dorr, a fellow Israeli who is also known for his participation in the Avishai Cohen Trio. Yotam Silverstein, a native of Tel Aviv, is one of the best jazz guitarists of our time, along with Gilad Hexelman and others. In 2020, he will release a duo album with Argentinean prodigy Carlos Aguirre, with whom he has been in contact for some time.This work is a jewel box of world music, jazz, blues, and even rock, from the traditional dance music of Flevo in northeastern Brazil, samba and choro in Rio de Janeiro, candombe in Uruguay, chamame in Argentina, Venezuela, Andalusia in Spain, and the Middle East. Featured artists include. Carlos Aguirre, Israeli flutist Itai Kris, and Swiss harmonica player Gregua Marais add to the performance.
