The Viennese master conductor Karl Böhm still enjoys strong popularity in Japan, and on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of his birth in 2019, the Beethoven symphony cycle he recorded with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is now available on SACD for the first time. Beethoven includes three overtures and nine symphonies in this five-disc set, taking advantage of the SA-CD's long recording time specification to make the complete collection one disc less than the CDs.From the original DG analog masters, DSD masters produced in 2018 at Emil Berliner Stuidos, Germany.2 ch stereo single layer.
