The Iorph people, who live in a remote land, quietly weaving their daily events into a cloth called hibioru, stop growing in their mid-teens and have a life span of several hundred years. Makia, a young Iorph girl with no parents, spends her days peacefully surrounded by her friends, but somewhere along the way she feels alone. In an instant, their days are shattered. In search of the blood of Iorph's longevity, the Mesate army, astride an ancient beast called Renato, invades the city.In the midst of despair and confusion, Leylia, the most beautiful woman in Iorph, is taken away by Mesate, and Krim, the boy whom Makia secretly loves, goes missing. Makia manages to escape, but she loses her friends and her place of refuge. With an empty heart, Makia wanders through the dark forest. There, she meets a baby who has just lost his parents and is all alone. Elial grows up to be a boy. Makia remains a little girl even after the passage of time. In the same season, time passes in different ways. In the changing times, the bond between the two changes its hue. A story of an irreplaceable time, spun out by a loner meeting a loner. The special limited edition comes with a bonus disc that includes a making-of featurette (approx. 40 min., with a stage greeting video) and a 115 min. video storyboard. A short scenario written by Mari Okada, a special booklet (80 pages), and a reduced-size theater pamphlet (36 pages *no poster) will be enclosed.
