Description:

Pianist and composer Gryazunov was born in Russia in 1982. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Yuri Suresarev, received his postgraduate degree in 2009, and worked as a teaching assistant to Suresarev in the piano department of the Moscow Conservatory. As a composer, he is under contract with Schott and has published his own compositions and arrangements. He has a wide repertoire ranging from Bach to Rachmaninoff to contemporary works, and in this album, he performs a number of Russian works that he has arranged himself, demonstrating not only his playing technique but also his highly acclaimed arranging talent. The modern flavored "Waltz of Flowers" and the well-known "Nocturne" by Borodin have a different atmosphere when played on the piano. Naxos Japan
